The PADI Divemaster certificate is accepted everywhere on earth. As a highly regarded dive professional, you can choose where to work and take up any diving role with ease. Other requirements are:
- Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training in the past 24 months
- At least forty logged dives are needed to start this course and sixty more to earn your certificate
- A medical statement with the signature of your doctor and should not be older than one year
- Though not always, note that your dive instructor might ask you to produce the certificates you got from other diver training schools.
How to Earn your Scuba Diving Certification
Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology offline then learn basic scuba skills in a pool (or pool-like environment) with a highly trained PADI Instructor. When you’re ready, make four dives in an open water environment (the ocean, a lake) with your instructor supporting you every step of the way.
With Your Instructor
Practice using scuba gear in a pool (or pool-like environment) until you’re comfortable. PADI training includes practice “mini dives” to help you build confidence in your new abilities before making four dives in open water.
